Responsibilities include teaching courses in business/professional communication (undergraduate and graduate), carrying out an active research agenda, and engaging in university and professional service. Required Qualifications An earned doctorate in professional communication, business communication, technical communication, digital media, or a related area is required. ABD candidates will be considered; full completion of the degree is required prior to the start date of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with a teaching philosophy consistent with the college’s learning-centered and business-connected mission are strongly preferred, with demonstrated scholarly activity commensurate with experience. Preferred candidates will be able to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: visual communication, intercultural communication, social media, or digital media. Relevant industry experience and research in emerging areas is desirable. Key expertise sought includes the ability to engage domestic and international students in face-to-face, blended/hybrid, and online formats.
