Job Description: Business Consultant, Client Solutions

The Institutional Buy Side Client Solutions Team is looking for a Consultant who will Support Portfolio Reporting Products offered by FactSet, which includes Portfolio Reporting Batcher (PRB), Portfolio Publisher (PUB) and Analytics Datafeed(ADF). The role involves regular communication and co-ordination of efforts with Clients, Sales Specialists, Product Development and Engineering groups. The Consultant will actively manage incoming client requests and collaborate with the development and engineering teams to proactively investigate requests, manage expectations, and resolve issues as well as work to continually improve the product offering.


Job Responsibilities:
• Actively manage incoming requests, provide first and second line application support to resolve technical queries and communicate status and solutions to clients on their critical processes.

• Provide full implementation of new ADF clients, from creation of initial ADF document to finalizing client production, file delivery and scheduling

• Coordinate with global team members to provide client support for PRB, PUB and ADF
• Interact with software engineering, Analytics specialists, sales, and other consultants to support client needs.
• Provide creative solutions to client challenges using FactSet products.
• Assist in project work, focused on application upgrades to improve product offering.
• Test new engineering releases of software before releasing to clients.


Job Requirements:
• University Degree holder – Business Administration, Financial Management, Mathematical Finance, Economics or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
• Client-service focus and sensitive "bedside manner"
• Ability to do detailed research, collect and organize data/relevant information to solve client issues
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to cope with fast-paced working environment
• Ability to work on project(s) and client ticket/RPD with shifting priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in offices globally
• Ability to think logically and exercise sound judgement

• Ability to work in a hybrid setup, 2x RTO per week/3x wfh per week
• Application support experience
• Interest in learning new technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)


 

Desired Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in the finance or fintech industry
• Programming knowledge (VBA, etc.) at any level, HTML and/or XML knowledge helpful
