Pay Rate: $82 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire Business Consultant - Senior for their team with a contract for 9 Months with potential extension. Hybrid - Thursday Core Day & every fourth Friday in Toronto Office.
Job Description: Lead and execute end-to-end sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency. Draft, negotiate, and finalize supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and mitigating risks. Manage contract amendments, renewals, and performance monitoring to maintain optimal supplier relationships. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly. Build strong relationships with SMEs and management teams to facilitate seamless procurement processes. Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within assigned categories. Stay informed on market trends to recommend innovative procurement solutions. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and governance programs.
Must Have Requirements: Legal background Ability to manage multiple deliverables Proven negotiation skills Technical writing Risk management experience Minimum 5 years, preference 7+ Years of related experience. Nice to Have: Business analyst experience Former CIBC Experience
