Pay Rate: $55 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a financial institution, is looking to hire a Business Consultant on a 6 months of  contract with possibility for extension. This position is hybrid with the office located in Downtown Toronto.

Job responsibilities Participate in projects as a Subject Matter Expert, providing input into the development and implementation of programs designed to improve end-to-end processes or technology. Partner with Subject Matter Experts to incorporate business process improvement and change management best practices into daily activities. Establish strategic partnerships with Front-line, Risk, Product, and other business partners. Research opportunities to deliver an improved sales customer experience and actively participate in channel strategy and roadmap development and execution. Monitor the performance of processes/services to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and profitability.
Must have Qualifications. Degree/diploma in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Accounting with minimum 3 years of experience with Process Improvement Methodologies. Experience in technology and business process troubleshooting. Knowledge of customer segmentation strategies and their implications for customer and employee experience and profitability. Familiarity with approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Nice to have Qualifications Banking experience, particularly within Retail Banking, is a strong nice-to-have. Consulting background is a strong nice-to-have. Experience in Change Management. Experience working with cross-functional teams. Six-Sigma experience. Sound knowledge of retail and business banking. Experience with Visio process mapping.
