Business Consultant (Full Stack Engineer)

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Full Stack Engineer, this role is responsible for developing the most appropriate and secure technology solutions using iterative software development/programming in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement. You will be required to continually enhance skills within several specializations which include front end backend development, security, testing, and operational support.

As our Business Consultant (Full Stack Engineer) you will:

Understand project requirements and develop design specifications as per business agreementsExecute project specific development activities in accordance with applicable standards and quality parametersAnalyze and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner followed up with Root cause analysis documentationDevelope / Review Code. Setting up the right environment for the projectsEnsure delivery within schedule by adhering to the engineering and quality standardsFollow all relevant IT policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerOwn deliver end to end projects within GCP and/or on-prem distributed applicationsAble to work under pressure on deliverables, P1, P2 Violations, Incidents. Available on support rota for a week to support GCP distributed servicesWork in PODs to help deliver Stories / Tasks and involved in providing the technical Support in Production tickets / Incidents on rota basisProvide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demandLiaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s directionEstablish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and dataCreate technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code qualityProvide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end to end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge


For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $100,400 and $150,600

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Jenkins, Ansible, Github, etc.)Comfortable with Unix in general, and shell scriptingHave worked on requirements, design develop - Event Driven and Near Real time data patterns - Ingress | EgressFluent with SQL, able to write complex queriesGood knowledge of JSON, XML processing libs and REST APIsBasic Knowledge on Banking domainHands on is a mustBe fluent and clear in communications (Written Verbal). Should be able to follow Agile ways of working
