The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join ION as a Business Consultant. As a Business Consultant, you will contribute to the success of the project by providing specific software and industry experience.Key Responsibilities:Provide business analysis and troubleshooting in all phases of the project to ensure the ION solution meets the client’s business needsAssume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the implementation (initiate, design, build, test, deploy, and production support).Adhere to implementation best practices for the ION solution in all functional designs, specifications, unit testing, implementation, and other deliverablesFollow ION documentation standards, and participate in the quality review process, for all deliverablesKeep Project Lead and Project Manager(s) informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilitiesMaintain full chargeability on client account(s) as assigned, and inform PM and PSD when you are not able to bill full timeGain industry and functional expertise through client projects and trainingPresent the Product solution to client users supervised by Principal Business Consultants or higher levelsGather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project as determined by the Project Manager and Lead Business Consultant on the project. Support the deliverables of the Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions (reports, plugins, and interfaces) as directed by Project ManagerRequired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:Treasury experience requiredPrevious experience with Treasury Management Systems preferred. Experience preferred with one or more of the following areas:Front Office/Risk Skills: Experience with Financial instruments(Fx and IR derivatives, Loans, Bonds, Capital markets & equities etc.), Valuations, Counterparty risk, Scenario analysis, Value at risk.Back Office Skills: Experience with Settlements, Messaging, Confirmations, Regulatory reporting.Cash & Liquidity Skills: Understanding of Cash management, Pooling & sweeping, Cash forecasting, Bank Account Management (Account inventory, Signatory management, Bank fee analysis).Accounting: Treasury accounting, Hedge accounting.Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related fieldAbility to work as part of a project team structureAbility to work onsite at client locationsEnergy industry experience is a plusAbout us:
