The Role / Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst will become an expert in the Acquire Media content set and is a point of contact for content vendors, managing both the source additions/maintenance and the implementation pipeline. Responsibilities include:

Efficiently manage a network of growing content vendors working with the various departments that support the integration process to ensure the timely and seamless delivery of content into the system.Direct, prioritize and delegate daily work to a team of developers who parse inbound data formats and transform text files into proprietary outbound formats.Content onboarding and requirement gathering/documenting to ensure end to end customer facing requirements are consideredIdentify potential providers and sources to add to the content collectionResearch new or requested content sources for collection suitability based on the overall content strategy, budget, competition, and industry trends.Analyse data from prospective data providers to ensure data quality.Maintain the content collection quality and currency and categorizes all sources in the content collection.Coordinate monitoring of reported issues, research changes to sources, and removes dead sources from the collection(s)

Qualifications:

Minimum three years of experience preferably within company information/data industryGood understanding of processes associated with data management. Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWorks well in a fast-paced team environment; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Clear understanding of Software Development Life CycleHas expert analytical and problem-solving skills.Consistently displays good presentation skills.Bachelor’s degree preferred.
