About the Role
• Drive, implement and maintain an effective Business Continuity Management (BCM) governance framework consistent with regulatory requirements and industry best practices/ standards, and adhere to the Company’s respective Standard(s).• Advise business functions in the risk review of Third Party and identify threats and business operations being interrupted due to unanticipated events /disruptions.
• Advise business functions on business continuity requires. (such as RTO and RPO).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Continuity Management (40%)
Proactively identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives; plus provide rectification suggestions.Conduct and manage review of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) with different departmental Business Continuity Coordinators (BCCs).Proactively identify potential business interruptions, develop safeguards against these interruptions, and implement recovery procedures in the event of a business interruption.Provide prompt support during emergencies, incidents or crises that require the additional BC arrangements and/ or activation of BCP.Manage the emergency communications system and ensure that all staff are appropriately covered by this system. Conduct regular testing to validate the effectiveness of this system.Provide subject matter expertise to different business functions and facilitate projects ensuring high availability, appropriate risk mitigation, and recoverability that conforms to business needs.Maintain BC site and conduct regular testing to validate effectiveness of the defined business continuity plans.Self-start and prepare regular BCM reports and presentations as directly.Management of Business Continuity Management Data & System (20%)
Manage BCM system including but not limited to foundation data maintenance, and training.Manage BC capabilities of new or enhancement of IT systems and migration of IT systems to cloud.Manage BCM attributes of all IT applications on Application Portfolio Management system which is considered as the golden source for all the BCM related reporting and management scorecard.Strengthen the resilience design on new application in the new architecture governance process from BC perspective.Facilitate Review of Third-Party Risk Assessments (20%)
Advise business functions in the risk review of Third Party and identify threats and business operations being interrupted due to unanticipated events/disruptions.Assessment of BCM Risk and Control Effectiveness (10%)
Perform quarterly update on the risk and control effectiveness assessments as well as Key Risk Indicators tracking, and take initiatives to facilitate the business in ensure the thresholds are met.Advisory business functions on business continuity requires (such as RTO and RPO) associated with a technology risk perspective.Management Reporting (10%)

University graduateAt least 10 years of management experience. Recognized BCM certification is preferred. Proficient in both English and ChineseExcellent problem solving and analytical skills, with logical process thinkingAbility to understand business issues and needs, and collaborated closely with key stakeholders.Able to work with multi-tasking skills, and quick re-prioritization when neededExcellent presentation skillsExperience in Insurance or Financial Industry experience preferred.Others:
