Business Continuity Manager

Overview:

The Business Continuity Manager will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing robust project plans tailored to our organization's operational needs. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can collaborate effectively across departments to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement comprehensive business continuity plans (BCPs) tailored to the Payments Optimization business.

Ensure plans address both technology and operations requirements, mitigating risks associated with system outages, natural disasters, cyber-security events, and other disruptions.

Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within payment systems and operations.

Evaluate the impact of various disruptions on business functions and develop strategies to minimize these risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Risk Management, and Legal to integrate continuity plans into overall business strategies.

Serve as a liaison between technology and operations teams to ensure alignment and comprehensive coverage of BCPs.

Develop and conduct regular tests and simulations of business continuity plans to ensure effectiveness.

Provide training and awareness programs for staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disruption.

Lead and coordinate the response to actual business disruptions, ensuring timely and effective action to minimize impact on payment operations.

Analyze incident responses to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in the continuity plans.

Maintain detailed documentation of business continuity plans, risk assessments, testing activities, and incident responses.

Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status and effectiveness of business continuity plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or risk management within a financial services or payments environment.

Strong understanding of payment systems, operations, and associated regulatory requirements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Proficiency in business continuity planning software and tools.

Certification in Business Continuity Planning (CBCP, MBCI, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
