The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BCP/DR Leader to drive the development and implementation of processes, frameworks, and standards for critical business functions. This role will ensure the organization is prepared for and can effectively respond to incidents or crises at the cyber, data center/IT services, or facility level. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various business functions, manage emergency contact points, and execute recovery processes and communication to all relevant stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement comprehensive BCP and DR frameworks and standards for critical business functions. + Establish and maintain emergency contact points and ensure they are up-to-date. + Work with internal departments to build and maintain department business continuity plans and collaborate with all business functions to ensure alignment and integration of BCP and DR plans. + Partner with relevant teams to run monthly or quarterly DR tabletop exercises and perform annual DR tests on Critical systems. + Build and maintain incident management and crisis management plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. + Develop and execute customer communication plans in case of incidents or crises. + Lead the execution of recovery processes and communication to all relevant stakeholders during emergency events. + Ensure BCP training for critical employees is kept up-to-date. + Serve as a liaison between the site and the Incident Management Team during events. + Represent recovery operations in incident response activities and direct and perform recovery activities to minimize incident impact and expeditiously return the site to business-as-usual conditions. + Ensure critical systems are backed up and resilient to meet required availability. Lead technical risk assessments of Enterprise System, network architecture and infrastructure + Stay on top of disaster recovery hardware and conceptual trends Skills & Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. + Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery in a multi- hybrid environment (AWS/Azure, Data Centers, Co-lo). + Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to BCP and DR. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. + Experience in conducting DR tabletop exercises and managing incident and crisis response. Preferred Skills: + Experience in the IT services industry. + Understanding and experience of internal and customer SLAs, RPO/RTO terms is must + Knowledge of cyber security and data center operations. + Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to BCP and DR. + Understanding of CJIS, HIPAA, PII, PCI is good to have + AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) and Additional certifications (CISSP, PMP, Six Sigma) is plus + Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and AWS Well-Architected Framework is plus
