About the Job:
The Red Hat SPO Product Operations Team is looking for a Business Continuity Program Manager to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will contribute to Red Hat's on-going success by working with product engineering leaders and subject matter experts to create and maintain Business Continuity Plans to support customer requests and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in business continuity, recovery and/or resilience plan creation, testing and maintenance; demonstrate desire and ability to handle multiple tasks with rapidly changing priorities; be proficient with automation tools; and enjoy working both independently and with teams in a virtual and global environment. Experience with ServiceNow and/or Fusion Risk Management preferred, but not required.
What you will do?
Lead the initiation and maintenance of business continuity plans for the Products & Global Engineering teams by working in collaboration with the Sr. Director, Product Operations, Global Business Resilience and Engineering subject matter experts to:
Lead the business resiliency and continuity function and lifecycle to ensure the organization proactively plans and effectively responds to potential crises.
Drive the planning and testing strategy..
Guide the Engineering subject matter experts through the development of their crisis management plans, ensuring they have complied with best practices.
Support users of workflow tools used to manage business continuity plans.
Oversee the execution of business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning.
Prepare monthly status reports and the annual business continuity impact and risk assessment.
Liaise with the emergency information center to ensure interlock with global Critical Incident Management (CIM).
Act as a subject matter expert on business continuity issues.
Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit purposes
The candidate should be willing to work across different timezones with global stakeholders. The position is based out of the Pune, India location.
What will you bring?
4+ years of experience with business continuity and emergency response, preferably with a technical product company.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and overall program management skills.
Ability to work across business units and departments in a matrix environment.
Professional presentation, writing and public speaking capabilities.
Proficiency in standard productivity tools like Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
The following are considered a plus:
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Business Continuity Institute Certification(BCI).
Project Management Professional (PMP), Change Practitioner, and/or Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are a plus.
Experience in building Chatbots with Slack, Google Chat, etc.
