Business Control Manager
Purpose of the Position:
The Business Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the oversight of financial results and reporting activities for GEMS Mexico, through monitoring and analyzing results. He/she is involved in financial matters, proposes solutions to simplify processes, reduce workloads, increase productivity and deliver results.
Responsabilities and Job Functions:
Act as the Business Control Manager, ensuring the oversight of financial results and reporting activities for GEMS Mexico. Challenge, manage and discuss results of the BU with managers on a monthly basis. Responsible for the preparation of monthly/quarterly business review meetings for GEMS Mexico. Responsible for the preparation of budget/MTP processes (V1/V2/V3) for GEMS Mexico. Coordinate and challenge results in close contact with the managers and Mexico. Responsible for building and maintaining analytical reports, dashboards and digital tools to enhance performance analysis (opex, capex, KPIs, etc). Responsible for communication with the other financial departments and/or GBUs financial requests regarding financial information.
Ocupational Profile:
Academic profile: Degree on accounting, finance or business management
Expirience: +4 years of experience in similar position
Knowledge: Economic and financial skills (general accounting principles of which IFRS, cost accounting, financial analysis) Proven solving-problems abilities, Understanding of Gas and Power Business in Mexico, Advance knowledge of MS 365, Knowledge of SAP, Digital and programming skills is a strong asset.
