Position Summary

We are looking after a Business Controller to join our Accounting team.

Role and Responsibilities

Checks and approves evidences for claims related to current contracts agreed with partnerCoordinates the process of recording sales deduction transactions (creation/closing of conditions so that all records are made on time, prepares the open items report, updates it daily and sends it to all persons involved in the processCommunicates with sales, in order to identify the status of Open item processingCoordinates GSSC portal issued invoicesPerforms internal controls to prevent potential fraud and mismanagement;  Ensure accurate and timely weekly/monthly specific activity reports to management or EHQ/HQPerforms specific month-end closing actions;Support implementation of new systems and provide support for RPA implementationSupports further development of methods, systems and processes and implementation of best practice approachesMonitors daily and identifies measures to prevent the achievement of activity-specific KPIs and Early WarningsMeets company deadlines (including but not limited to GPPM, month-end closing, etc.) for each type of activityPrepare weekly/monthly reports with activity specific situations-contracts, claims statusAccountable to internal/external audit for the activity performedUndertakes actions specific to month-end closingReports periodically on results achieved versus objectives, analyses and gives recommendations on future actionsProvides support to all other accounting activities;.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in finance5+ years’ experience in accountingProven experience using Excel full timeExposure to automationExperience working with large relational databasesThe ability to think quickly, understands the complexities of the roleHas the capability to work both independent and as part of the teamStrong analytical and logical thinking capabilityA high degree of analytical expertise is crucial, along with the ability to communicate test results in basic terms for consumption of non-technical colleagues.Willing to work closely with non-technical teams and learn new concepts
