We’re looking for a passionate Business Controls Analyst to join our Business Controls Office on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Our Business Controls Office is responsible for the Operational, Regulatory and Compliance Risk activities undertaken in our 1st Line of Defence for Retail Bank, Chief Operations Office (COO). Our team provides support through advice, guidance and assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
You’ll be responsible for supporting COO teams in the identification and management of non-financial risk (operational, regulatory and compliance risks) in line with our Risk Appetite Statement, policies and regulatory obligations.
This role can be based in Sydney or Wyong. A Wyong based candidate will be expected to travel to the Sydney office 2 days per week.

What we’re looking for
Previous experience as an analyst from a similar role, ideally within 1st of 2nd Line risk. A background within banking will be essential for this role. Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance regimes (AML/KYC, Privacy, BCOP, Responsible Lending).Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
