Responsibilities Assist with accounting functions such as accounts receivables and payables, payroll and report preparationMaintains controls and records of financial transactions.  May specialize in some phase of accounting work such as federal funds, account, payrollComplex data entry work involving cost accounting procedures, correcting/adjusting and closing of journal entriesMay audit operating reports, vouchers, invoices, requisitions, purchase orders, and similar statementsResponsible for processing of accounts payable and scanning of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month end close informationWill assist finance staff in gathering information and responding to ad hoc requestsResponsible for review and upload of expense entries during month end closeOther duties as assigned Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent requiredFamiliarity with Oracle Financial or other accounting software a plusOne year of full time experience in accounting principles, practices, and procedures required About our Line of Business StepStone Family and Youth Services provides the full spectrum of support to children in need of alternative, safer and more positive living environments with residential and family services.
