Job Description

 

Translate business needs to technical specificationsDesign, build, and maintain charts, dashboards, and KPIsDesign & build BI test casesFacilitate the UAT workshops with the with businessPlay key roles in building RSD (Report Specs Document) and KPI cardsParticipate heavily in designing & building BI user guides and awareness sessionsConduct unit testing and troubleshootingStory-telling using data visualizationCommunicate with data warehousing and BI storage tools (e.g. OLAP cubes) to get the data for the visualizationsEvaluate and improve existing BI systemsDevelop and execute SQL database queries and conduct analysesWork with different data format; structured, semi-structured, and geospatialData cleansing and normalization when neededPerform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis on the data

QualificationsMore than 3 years of experience in the fieldExperience working with senior decision makersStrong communication/interpersonal skillsProven analytical backgroundAdvanced Excel skillsDeep understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworkExcellent background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data miningIndustry experience is a must, preferably with more than one business domainExcellent command of SQL language using multiple backend database engines such as SQL Server, ORACLE, DB2, etc..Experience in generating visualization using Python libraries is a plusBSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fieldExperience with at least two BI technology (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microstrategy, etc..) is a plusFluent in English & Arabic

Additional Information

This role requires flexibility in mobility, allowing individuals to work interchangeably between Tunis and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
