Renault Trucks International is hiring a Business developer Mining F/H on a permanent contract in Lyon site. 

 

The team:  You will be part of a sales team of professional people experienced in trucks sales and engaged to give the best services to their customers. The team is supported by a larger team of experts in their domains : technical support, fleet management, sales support, financing specialists…


What you will do:

 

As the Mining business developer, you will report to the international key account director and will play a key leadership role in driving the development of Renault Trucks’ commercial strategy and ensuring Renault Trucks' continued growth in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, in the mining sector.

 

•    Develop sales in the mining segment by targeting major and mid-size mining companies and their subcontractors.
•    Promote heavy-duty trucks and service offerings, ensuring optimal uptime, profitability, carbon savings, and safety.
•    Build proposals that meet customer needs and enhance operational efficiency.
•    Collaborate with International Key Account Managers for direct sales opportunities.
•    Work closely with the Sub-Sahara Africa Business Team & Importers to support local sales.
•    Strengthen Renault Trucks' brand positioning and customer value in the mining sector.
•    Ensure profitability and sustainable business growth in both the short and long term.

 

Indeed, you will develop and implement a commercial strategy for the mining segment. Your role involves prospecting key players and building relationships within the industry. 
You will represent Renault Trucks at events and serve as a brand ambassador. You will drive new business by creating customized solutions and negotiating deals.
Collaboration across functions is essential for successful sales execution. Success will be measured through sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention.

 

Who are you ?

 

We are looking for a candidate with strong market expertise in the mining sector, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a solid understanding of customer needs and competitors.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in business development and key account management.
A customer-focused approach is essential, with the ability to build long-term relationships and offer tailored solutions.


We seek a results-driven professional, proactive in achieving business outcomes.
Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
The candidate must be dynamic and mobile, willing to travel and excel in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
