Business Development Account Executive – Arizona / California – Semiconductors

Company Overview:

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a pioneering start-up in semiconductor manufacturing, specialising in ground-breaking Localised Electrochemical Metallization (LEM) technology. The client’s innovative approach bridges conventional screen printing and photolithography to provide high-speed, high-resolution metallization while reducing costs, energy use, emissions, and waste.

Role Overview:

The Business Development Account Executive will play a critical role in driving growth in the semiconductor industry. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong background in semiconductor packaging technology and an existing professional network. The role primarily involves finding leads, developing business opportunities, and acting as a liaison between our product team and clients for system sales and Proof-of-Concept projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the semiconductor sector.Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts and potential clients.Collaborate with the product team to understand offerings and communicate effectively with clients. Work across time zones (US, Europe, Australia, Asia) and travel up to 20-40% as necessary.Influence client conversations confidently and navigate discussions without direct authority.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in the microelectronics field with strong business development or sales acumen.Established network in semiconductor companies, research institutions, or organizations involved in Advanced Packaging.Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of semiconductor applications and markets.Excellent communication skills to influence and engage clients confidently.Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annuallyOTE Package: $150,000+ (uncapped sales bonuses)Equity Opportunities via ESOP

Location:

Arizona or California based is essential; flexible remote working arrangements. 20-40% travel.

PLEASE NOTE: A strong technical understanding of Localised Electrochemical Metallization (LEM) technology and its applications is key for this role. Experience selling lithography / etch / deposition OEM equipment to OSATs is preferred
