Business Development Advisor, Inside Rx

This position will be a critical addition to the Inside Rx team. We are seeking an experienced strategic sales associate to drive new sales and growth of the organization’s pipeline in the prescription drug discount card market. The role requires a demonstrated ability to work independently, under tight time constraints while prioritizing workload, demonstrating sound judgment and build relationships internally and externally. The ideal candidate should embrace culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Establishes plans and executes activities that directly support the implementation and optimization of efforts to grow sales, revenue, profit, and market share.Maintains viable sales pipeline through prospecting and the evaluation of clients and opportunity. Research prospects to discover key information such as lines of business, size, stakeholders, current providers and pain pointsLeverage Pipeline and industry research to conduct market and technology research. Develop new initiatives and partnershipsManage a disciplined prospect engagement process to meet Inside Rx’s growth goals and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Identify differentiators by collaborating with internal resources to further define the strategic prospecting plan according to products, size of opportunity, bid history, stakeholders and key targets within different marketsTailors sales messaging to address specific needs of prospective clients, highlighting the seamless integration capabilities of our solutions Works closely with our product, marketing and technical teams to ensure client inquiries can be addressed with confidence and accuracyDevelops an understanding of our productions and solutions, including API integrations, to effectively communicate with clientsMaintain working knowledge of sales tools (Salesforce and Demandbase) and processes to provide troubleshooting support and make suggestions for improvement, as well as how to effectively leverage tools for insights data, campaigns and other prospecting outreach.Assume role of trusted strategic consultative developing intimate knowledge of our partners’ objectives. Proactively obtain missing/incomplete information and ensures the key transactions are moving through the process timely and accurately with attention to detail and follow ups Execute successful end-to-end sales process if partner’s business is placed out to bidExude self-motivated ownership of metric-driven results, continually acting with a sense of urgency to ensure that results are attained, if not exceededAssesses, evaluates, establishes and develops business opportunities.Champion perpetual change within the Inside Rx organization to ensure that we anticipate market trends and offer industry-leading products and servicesQualified candidates will possess a combination of the following:
Bachelor’s degree preferredAt least 5 years of relevant experience in sales and/or business development within healthcare.Solid understanding of PBM, marketing processes, sales practices, account management and administrative operations.Customer focus-ability to exceed customer expectations with a strong focus on customer delivery and the ability to think in new and innovative ways.Strong relationship building skills and the ability to interface at the executive and key stakeholder level both internally and externally.Successful track record and/or possesses clear aptitude as an administrator, negotiator, and salespersonStrong persuasion skills and effective communicator; possesses excellent relationship-building skillsDemonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to plan for both the long and short term; ability to work on many issues at once and to prioritize workEffective speaking and communication skills; demonstrated presentation skillsStrong work ethic and a high drive and focus. Demonstrates optimism and determination when facing challengesThe ability to travel up to 25% of the time* * * This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work in the St. Louis or Morris Plains office three days per week. * * *
