The Business Development and Transactions Specialist executes, develops, and manages planning that supports the leadership team in operationalizing short term and long term operational, financial and strategic goals. Manages complex projects, identifies analytical capabilities, and possesses the curiosity to ask probing questions that drive insight. Develops practical solutions by partnering across the business unit and IU Health. Works in collaboration with leadership to apply standard planning processes and analytics in support of local and system priorities. Creates strategic roadmaps that are prioritized based on business objectives and organizational feasibility. Assesses new business opportunities in partnership with the administrative leadership team. Fosters an environment that encourages innovative ideas from team members and builds buy-in across the business unit. Works autonomously and exercises initiative and balanced judgment. Drives continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the development of processes and reporting to enhance operational performance. Directs efforts to identify operational improvements to maximize performance, establish best practices, financial improvements, and increased productivity and efficiencies.
Core responsibilities:
Works autonomously to lead and complete business development projects and deals/transactions, including related recommendations (types of deals/transactions; joint ventures, acquisitions, affiliations, divestitures). Leads the development and assessment of the financial analysis and modelingServes as key project manager for multiple projects , coordinating across various departments such as legal, finance and operations to ensure seamless execution of transaction items.Leads development of business development presentations and communication materials to ensure appropriate knowledge sharing throughout the deal process.Skills:

Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
