Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for a role as Business Development Associate on the EMEA Consulting Group. This person will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Consulting as they promote our research service to various business units within existing clients (top global management consultancies, market research, advertising, and audit and advisory firms)
What You’ll Do:
Develop a working knowledge of industry coverage and the competitive landscape. Build relationships and schedule meetings with clients and senior sales managers. Partner with management to increase user base at client firms. Monitor client usage to proactively and develop relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers. Work alongside senior Client Growth professionals to provide engaging content for meetings with prospects and effectively articulate our value proposition. Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads within existing clients. Follow up on warm leads. Meet designated meeting and interaction targets using a strategic and thoughtful process designed to partner with clients and add value to their process. Map companies in order to identify target groups and job functions. Onboard new users effectively. Work closely with the Client Service team to collect feedback on open and closed projects.What You Have:
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and extracurricular achievement 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role, e.g. sales, account management, client management, etc. Fluency in English (additional language proficiency is a plus). Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management. Excellent communicator and capable of handling the demands of high-profile clients. Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere. A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time. Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels. A desire to work in an international environment, including US-based and APAC counterparts. Quantitative skills critical to account management tasks (basic excel proficiency is a plus).What We Offer:
