Business Development Associate
**Job Description** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a Business Development Associate to help source and manage new advisor relationships within the Independent Contractor Division (ICD). You will work closely with prospective advisors and home office associates to establish and maintain relationships that lead to creating new business. The role will assist in the recruitment of advisors, targeting those who advise high net worth individuals. **Key Responsibilities:** **Prospect Management** : + Enter and maintain customer information in the CRM system. + Ensure data quality for effective customer retention and business development. + Maintain a prospect database, generate reports, gather data, and proactively educate prospects on Raymond James products and services that meet their current clients’ needs. **Administrative Support** : + Coordinate with functional areas for a professional recruiting process, prepare payout analyses, oversee transitions, and ensure proper execution of onboarding processes. + Work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong advisor relationships. **Relationship Management** : + Develop and maintain strong relationships with Home Office Departments and Branch Managers, serve as a backup to Recruiter and Administrative Manager, and manage day-to-day advisor relationships. + Build and nurture relationships with prospect advisors to ensure effective two-way communication and issue resolution. **Sales and Business Development Assistance** : + Assist in sourcing new financial advisor affiliations, creating business development strategies, and expanding referral sources through target marketing campaigns. **Event Coordination** : + Coordinate National and Regional Conferences, Campaigns, and host prospects during Home Office Visits, ensuring all issues and concerns are addressed. **Qualifications** + Proven experience in prospect and client relationship management within the financial services industry. + Strong communication and presentation skills. + Ability to manage several projects simultaneously + Ability to build and maintain professional networks. + Proficiency in CRM systems and data management. + Knowledge of financial products and services. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Commitment to professional development and continuous learning. . **Education** Bachelor’s, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance **Work Experience** General Experience - 3 to 6 years **Certifications** Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) - Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) **Travel** Less than 25% **Workstyle** Hybrid At Raymond James our associates use five guiding behaviors (Develop, Collaborate, Decide, Deliver, Improve) to deliver on the firm's core values of client-first, integrity, independence and a conservative, long-term view.
