Job Summary:
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a critical role in driving new business by supporting the sales process from lead generation to deal execution. This includes supporting outbound sales and marketing campaigns through warm-and cold-calling prospects and driving qualified leads. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of our sales strategy. You’ll focus on identifying opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and providing the support necessary to close deals and onboard new clients successfully. The Business Development Associate will also help to cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
Become an integral part of a rapidly growing team responsible for selling the leading cloud-based fee billing solution for financial services firms, specifically ENV Payments and BillFin. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition, revenue growth and customer success objectives. We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of selling financial accounting and hosted solutions. The ideal candidate will have excelled in a start-up environment and have a strong understanding of enterprise SaaS/Cloud applications
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and prioritize inbound inquiries via web and phone, from clients.
Attend industry conferences and present all options to the industry by being able to give live demonstrations as well as network in the crowd and recruit prospects to the booth.
CRM Management:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in Salesforce.
Track and report on key performance metrics to support sales forecasting and planning.
Market & Product Expertise:
Develop a strong understanding of our platform, solutions, and market positioning.
Articulate our value proposition to prospective clients and address initial questions or concerns.
Engage in market research to identify prospective firms, key individuals and generate interest in our products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Marketing to execute campaigns and follow up on leads generated through events and content.
Present BillFin, Payments, and Payouts products to prospects over the phone and by virtual demos.
Additional:
Achieve weekly sales goals and annual revenue goals
Primarily responsible for closing all opportunities for RIAs with less than $500M in AUM.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of business experience (Software Sales a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Positive attitude and high energy
Ability to work in a rapidly changing, team environment
Strong computer skills including salesforce.com, MS Office and web presentation tools
