We are searching for a Business Development Consultant for our Two Men And A Truck Brand to move franchises forward by applying the shared knowledge gained by being a part of a franchise system and replicating key attributes of successful franchises.  In this role you will move the partnership between franchisees and the franchisor forward by consistently sharing the brand vision (or components of it) with the franchise and educating key stakeholders on opportunities / ideas from the field. You will have the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to the franchises, earning the right to be exceptionally influential when helping franchisees develop the understanding, commitment, and alignment needed to fulfill their role in the change process. You will coordinate with subject matter specialists in supporting franchises based on their unique needs and goals.


What you will do: 

Consult with approximately  – 25 - 40 franchise operating units Ensure clear goals related to franchise communication, support and performance results are setCollaborate with  manager and subject matter experts in the corporate office to prioritize support efforts and coordinate franchise action plans for improvementCoordinate and lead regularly scheduled consulting calls, as well as related activities (call prep, reviewing reports, collaborating with subject matter experts on follow-up needs, filing of call reports, etc.)Provide face-to-face consulting to franchisees and franchise staff at the franchise locations; Recommend which subject matter specialist(s) attend onsite support visits when necessaryPrepare and facilitate, inbound franchisee visits/virtual visits, either for the purpose of renewing their franchise agreement or improving the engagement with the franchisor / performance of their franchiseHelp franchises anticipate and capture sales, and plan / build capacity Boost referral rates and customer satisfaction scores and minimizing variance during peak season Improve increased long-term profitability and growth of assigned franchises

What you will bring: 

Associate’s degree or combination of education and equivalent experience is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of three plus years of relevant business, industry, or system experience, which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities, is required. Ability to make decisions or recommendations significantly changing, interpreting, or developing important policies or programsGeneral business knowledge which includes HR management, marketing, operations and IT  General knowledge of forecasting, budgets, and financial analysis General knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations. In-depth knowledge of system performance metrics
