The Business Development Consultant will play a significant role in influencing and increasing the sales pipeline for AGS’s Workforce Solutions. This position works closely with APACx Business Development Teams to create a targeted strategy for outreach to prospective clients for introductory meetings.
The main focus of this role is to engage with executives and decision-makers through multiple networking channels, build strategic messaging that aligns with prospective clients, and qualify leads for new business opportunities.
This role is measured by booking prospective meetings, outbound activity, and generating opportunities associated with a new client.
Responsibilities:
Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects via phone, email, and social media channelsIdentify innovative ways to connect with and qualify prospects within regional target accountsSchedule initial discovery meetings to identify the customer’s needsDetermine the prospect's use and interest in MSP, RPO, Direct Sourcing, and Procurement Solutions.Partner with the Lead Management Team to identify key contacts to move beyond the gatekeeper within the organization.Align with strategic partners to uncover new targets including Operating Companies, Vendor Management Systems, and Staffing Suppliers.Establish robust professional networks through LinkedIn and other channelsProactively research and document critical industry and client informationAttend Conferences as needed to drive relationship-building and engagement with potential clientsDevelop and maintain detailed activity reporting through Salesforce documentation of all sales-related activity.Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to share company posts/activities/white papers/ podcastsQualificationsQualifications, Skills, Knowledge:
2 to 3 years plus of experience in selling Procurement, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or HR-related solutions. Candidates from agency land, looking to break into the world of workforce solution selling are highly encouraged to apply.Knowledge of MSP/Contingent, RPO, Outsourcing, or Staffing/Agency Industries.Proven success in a sales capacity in either inside or outside sales.Business Development experience inclusive of Direct or Indirect sales experience.Strong business acumen, with strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.Excellent written communication and verbal communication, with high attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to problem solve, influence, and solution.
