Job Description
Overview: As our Business Development Coordinator, you will work closely to provide high-level business development and administrative support to our senior management members, the Studio Managers. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with technical knowhow in the field of urban planning and/or design, exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Bid Management: Lead proposal preparation including documentation (both technical and non-technical parts), coordination with technical team, bid compilation, bid submission (online & offline), tracking, and maintaining BD database in internal ERP systems.
2. Analysis & Market Research: Preparation of Market/Sector research, Strategy Development
3. Communicating: Manage internal and external communications dynamically in consultation with the Studio Managers and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
4. Fostering Professional Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with the internal teams and external stakeholders through proactive outreach, meetings and communications.
5. Scanning business opportunities: Keep a continuous tab on opportunities/pursuits across various online/offline platforms
6. Marketing & Communications: Developing marketing materials, presentations, white papers, articles and representing A+U Division in forums
7. Maintaining Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and Arcadis’s policies.
8. Supporting the Project Team: Provide technical support to the project teams on a need basis
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Urban Planning /Policy/Management/or a related field.
• 3+ professional years of experience in Business Development roles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite (Illustrator & Indesign) and other relevant analytical and design software.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and should be a team player.
• Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
