Mackenzie Stuart is in close partnership with a global player in Adhesives, actively seeking a dynamic Business Development Director for their Equipment line. The ideal candidate must possess experience in driving growth within the LED, Photonics or Custom Equipment sector.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute customer-centric go-to-market strategiesIdentifying and pursuing opportunities to increase revenue and profitabilityPropel strategic sales growth by executing short, medium, and long-term business plans.Create and execute operational plans in alignment with the company’s objectives.Formulate and manage the business budget for commercial arrangements.Foster a high-performance culture by developing and empowering the R&D and business development teams.Drive innovation within the R&D engineering team to develop cutting-edge products and solutions by identifying emerging market trends and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.Direct the formulation of strategic plans for the company’s overall operations and long-term growth.Analysing financial data and generating reports on commercial performanceImplement organizational changes to align with company goals or comply with legal requirements.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the LED, Photonics or Custom Equipment industry.Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business preferred. MBA a plus!Experience in using CRM and ERP systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.Experience leading a cross-functional team.Fluency in English, additional languages a plus.
