Business Development Director | New LA Office!
About this role
A national design firm specializing in hospitality and multifamily sectors is looking for a Business Development Director in Los Angeles to cover the California market. This role is completely new, you will be able to utilize your years of expertise to shape the LA market and expand into new market sectors! This role will start in San Francisco and after 6-12 months relocate to Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

Lead business development initiatives for the Los Angeles office, implementing strategic plans to acquire new clients and maintain external relationships for the firm. Research and track potential project leads, establishing contact with client representatives and supporting local leadership in pursuing these leads, including setting up introductory meetings and follow-ups. Stay updated on market sector trends and industry news, managing client and consultant interactions regularly, and participating in weekly internal BD calls and relevant meetings. Attend industry networking events, participate in related organizations, and identify opportunities for conferences and speaking engagements, promoting the firm's presence in the market.


Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Strong connections and network in Los Angeles area. 15+ years of experience in relevant market sectors. Excellent written and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience covering the California region to hit the ground running in Los Angeles
