Business Development Director (Hunter)
Reporting Line
The role is reporting to the Global Sales of Energy, remote work is permissible however approx. 30%-40% of time will initially be needed in Paris.
Job Purpose
Drive new client sales in the Energy and Plant Engineering business unit. Focused on selling: Engineering Services (mechanical & electrical, hardware & software), Digital Solutions (IoT & Analytics), Business Support Services.

Develop a pipeline of customers and build relationshipsLeverage sales force and drive lead generationDrive for Revenue growth and profitabilityDrive business proposals (technical & commercial)Negotiate contracts, MSA and Commercial PricingCollaborative leadership with delivery, sales, pre-sales and marketing organizationsDrives followership and leads by exampleMust haves
Read, write and speak fluent French10+ years in metrics-driven solutions selling into heavy Engineering industry.Established contacts and relationships at the C-level, VP, and Director levelsClearly demonstrated experience in revenue growthStrong negotiations backgroundDriven complex technical business proposalsDeal flow- how to structure deals, legal contracts, and master service agreementsBuilt eco-system partnerships to help drive revenue growth.Specific skill set:
Fundamental understanding of all phases of project and plant engineering, IoT & AnalyticsKnowledge of Sustainable Energy, Oil and Gas and Power Plant industry practices and market trends in preferredRequirements
