We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales team at Mercer China. This role will be based in Beijing Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Achieve a personal sales target and be accountable for personal sales plan and pipeline.Determine or support to determine the overall sales and segmentation strategy and opportunity pursuit plans to maximise sales effectiveness and leverage Mercer's local and global resources.Identify opportunities and develop them from start to closure, including build up pipeline, maintain potential clients, provide proposal and follow up the contract process.Partner effectively with Mercer's consulting network, marketing and relationship management as well as Marsh to achieve the sales target.Exhibit strong discipline on managing personal pipeline and ensuring that the pipeline remains fresh and relevant.Contribute to creating compelling value propositions for the market and where necessary, for a specific client, drawing on all of the internal resources and ensuring the clients' needs are understood and communicated back to the business.Ensure that compliance in the use of Mercer's client relationship management system to ensure accurate data for senior management to track and monitor sales performance.Represent Mercer in the market on employee health and benefit matters when required.Participate in regional sales professionals development activities aimed at enhancing our effectiveness and growth around the region.Be proficient in and a champion of Mercer tools and processes, including MercerForce.Represent Mercer in the market when required.What you need to have:
Seven or more years of relevant sales experience and/or industry experience required.Successful experience selling to executive/senior level employees.Strong communication skills when liaising with different category of potential clients/internal stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to the communication style dependent on the needs of the audience.Demonstrated experience in products/solutions selling to mid to large corporations.Sales performance focused and a strong sense of personal accountability.Negotiation and influencing skills both internally and externally.Ability to work across the business in partnership with internal stakeholders.Ability to work autonomously to achieve set results.What makes you stand out?
