Under general direction from a sales manager, the Business Development Executive (BDE) works to close new business for Inmar – a new client or a new product solution for an existing client – based on a prospect list, typically consisting of mid-tier and smaller companies. Drawing from success in previous sales roles, the BDE uses a persuasive nature and creative methods to qualify leads, cultivate relationships and close deals that drive new revenue.
The BDE is adept at continuously learning new concepts, services and products, and conveying them in a compelling way to their targets.

Document new opportunities in salesforce.com; properly disposition assigned opportunities and manage follow up tasks appropriatelyGenerate special reporting as neededProvide support and assistance to manager and team members; effectively engage other internal resources when neededServe as an internal sales resource to non-sales departments as requestedRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field2-4 years of related work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this positionSales experience with financial services, healthcare, logistics, or ecommerce preferredExperience with CPG manufacturers or Retailers, a plusSolid experience in developing and winning business in a highly competitive environment; ability to sell across products and a variety of different solutions; ability to negotiate contracts, deal with price pressure and successfully resolve with strong profit margins; ability to discern the solution that is best for the customer and the value range they are willing to payStrong questioning skills and the patience to hear customer outGood decision making, knowing when to leverage additional resources to move deals past obstaclesAble to compose professional business correspondence, proposals and reportsIndividual Competencies:

This position is potentially available to remote work. In the event that you are located in a state that requires pay transparency, the salary range will be disclosed to you upon acceptance of your application. Salaries can fluctuate based on geographic location and qualifications and pay is based on several factors which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, certifications, labor markets, etc. This role includes an opportunity for company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Core Company Performance Bonus Plan. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
