Business Development Executive

Our client has close to 30 years of experience in the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry industry mainly on the east coast, with expansion into other markets within the US. They provide builders with superior and economically designed kitchen cabinets for mid and hi-rise buildings.

Due to growth, our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to work virtual out of the Washington, DC Metro Market, while residing and maintaining the assigned territory. (Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary relationship owner for top-tier client accounts with responsibility for winning new clients while retaining and growing existing clients. (meet and exceed quotas) Must be a “sales hunter,” building new relationships and winning work from new contractors. Find new opportunities, identifies decision-makers, responds to RFPs, gathers information, strengthens personal and professional relationships, positions the company favorably, and works with internal resources to maximize the potential to win large deals. Strengthen relationships with existing clients Identify decision-makers and influencers Manage sales pipelines (both short and long term) Proactively/ efficiently leverage resources with dedicated internal teams and executive staff around opportunities to ensure successful outcomes Win work from new contractors Enter all information into our CRM

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required. Prior experience prospecting to and winning business from developers/builders/General Contractors of mid-to-hi rise buildings. Valid driver’s license and car.

Salary is between $75,000 - $85,000 plus commissions, benefits, and excellent PTO
