About the role We are looking for a Business Development Executive to acquire new customers and expand our market reach across EMEA. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you’ll work closely with a high-performing sales team while also collaborating across departments to ensure customer success. Some travel may be required for industry events and client meetings. Responsibilities + Prospecting and selling solutions to new customers to exceed sales targets; + Following up on regional leads, making outbound calls, and leveraging social selling tools; + Working closely with team members to close new business opportunities; + Conducting consultative selling activities, including demos, presentations, and tender responses; + Learning and articulating the value proposition of assigned solutions to customers; + Negotiating contracts and closing sales with prospective clients. + Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align with market needs and customer goals; + Keeping up to date with market trends, regulations, and competitive developments. Requirements + Possess a degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience; + Demonstrate proven sales experience with the ability to close deals; experience in financial sectors is a plus; + Show strong organizational, time management, and forecasting skills; + Work well under pressure and consistently meet performance targets; + Quickly develop expertise in LexisNexis Risk Solutions and customer use cases; + Exhibit professional networking skills and business maturity; + Operate effectively within a team to achieve shared goals; + Utilize Salesforce CRM efficiently; experience with sales methodologies like SPIN or Insight Selling is an advantage.
