RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development (Sales):Manage your own lead generation and sales pipeline. Work with senior managers and director level on the sales pipeline of your domain/sector/regionUse and maintain Sphera's sales tools (e.g. SalesForce, LCR, CBFs, etc.) and follow the sales process in a timely and accurate mannerDevelop a deep knowledge of the overall Sphera offering portfolio and of Sphera’s overall sales organization and maintain itIdentify sales opportunities in your daily work and with your domain/sector/regionPrepare proposals (SOWs) for large and complex projects in closer alignment with senior managers and director levelAppropriately represent Sphera in client contactsRespond to client requests in a timely and pro-actively mannerRegularly contact your existing clients to identify future needsAlign and agree with consultants and/or BDRs on scope, resources and timeline before asking for approval and sending out to the clientEnsure a collaborative atmosphere with the project teams and support in client communication when neededUnderstand capacity situation in the teams and align with consulting delivery team on tentative committed project staffing before sending out SoWs.Involve PMs in an early stageSupport to manage customer satisfaction issuesEnsure that PMs organize “Wrap up” calls with clients when projects are going to be closed and attend to identify upsell potentialCoordinate and share appropriate domain/sector knowledge in the area of FARM & Chem with the global consulting and business development organizationPro-actively research existing and new or upcoming topics in the area of FARM & Chem that have sales potentialPro-actively identify relevant conferences and participate in conferences with the goal of generating warm or hot leadsSupport in developing and executing the go-to-market plans in collaboration with the "Director Business Development - Consulting" as well as MarketingContribute to Sphera’s knowledge management and support project delivery teams according to agreed workflow for setting up reference slides with clients where possible (slide in pptx, preferred with Client logo and Client statement)Support regions and software, and content salesSupport Sphera’s activities in the sector (globally where appropriate) and support management of sector sales in focus regionSupport senior managers and director level in development activities in large potential and close client relationships#LI-REMOTE
