Business Development Intern

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for an energetic, highly motivated intern to join our Federal Department in Pittsburgh for Spring and Summer 2026!

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience while working alongside experts on meaningful projects that support federal clients and critical infrastructure.

Assist our Federal Team to organize and maintain project profiles, resumes, and other documents to be used in proposals and task orders.Research existing project content and statements of work to be concisely documented for technical and non-technical audiences.Determine the clearest way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.Meet with subject matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.Generate innovative ideas for content and presentation of materials.Review and copyedit content developed by other members of the team.Learn and utilize CRM and other resources to extract information from existing and past proposals.Perform research to identify potential clients and opportunities. Support other research and administrative tasks as needed. Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Business, Public Policy, Marketing, Communications, or a related program.Junior or Senior standing preferred.Prior experience with technical or creative writing.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software a plus.Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.Mastery of English grammar and writing for reader comprehension.Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
