Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open in Spring 2024 in White Hall, AR. Operated jointly between Jefferson Regional and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, this new 87,000-square foot, 76-bed hospital, housing 40 inpatient rehabilitation beds with an additional 36 behavioral health beds, will be located just north of Pine Bluff and south of Little Rock. We are seeking a passionate, creative and goal-oriented Business Development Liaison to join the team at Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital Behavioral Healthand have an immediate impact on expanding on our success, growing our services and fulfilling our mission of improving the lives of all we touch.

As a Business Development Liaison you will:

Initiate one on one dialog with potential referral sources and maintains positive relationships with current referral sources.

Design, develop and drive cutting edge sales strategies designed to increase patient admissions that leverage Kindred’s core competence in providing behavioral health care and services.

Through the building of long term relationships with these referring facilities, clinics, community partners and physicians, the Business Development Liaison will facilitate the identification and assessment of future patient admissions factoring in length of stay and level of acuity which should align with the outcomes expected from Kindred’s clinical expertise in behavioral health care. 

Implement an effective marketing plan for achieving budgeted census, patient mix, referral, and contact objectives.

Qualifications

As a Business Development Liaison you will have:

Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree Preferred.Valid Driver’s License.Clinical Licensure Preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, RN).Two years marketing/sales experience.Formal sales training.

Demonstrated healthcare sales experience - lead generation, educating the referral source, persistent follow up and follow through on all leads as well as demonstrated experience working in a clinical setting directly involved with patient diagnosis and/or assessing acuity for complex patients preferred.

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital will provide inpatient rehabilitation services for adults who have experienced a loss of function or disability due to stroke, brain injury, spinal code injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic surgery and other conditions. Featuring all private rooms, the rehabilitation section of the hospital will provide intense, interdisciplinary rehabilitation therapies and medical care to improve patients’ functional independence and help them return home. In addition, Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital’s distinct behavioral unit will offer a continuum of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adults and seniors, including crisis stabilization for acute mental health and substance use disorders; detoxification from alcohol and drugs; and treatment for anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and many other behavioral health illnesses.
