Business Development Manager, Building Construction
JOB PURPOSE:
The Business Development Manager will prospect potential construction tool, supply and service providers to become Topcon Building Construction distributors.
They will present compelling business cases, develop go-to-market strategies, and assist with the legal onboarding process.
Additionally, they will provide industry insights, product training and collaborate with marketing to develop marketing campaigns that support distributor growth and market penetration to ensure the new distributors achieve early and sustained success
CORE JOB DUTIES
Commercial expert in our Building Construction solutionsFinding new and managing exiting distributors for our Building Construction solutionsPromote our Building Construction solutions by various publicity and visibility activities, and working with our Marketing Team on strategic marketing activitiesCreate and drive a strategic business plan for our Building Construction solutions within a specific country/regionProactively work with Product Management to ensure our solution meets customer expectations and market potentialProactively work with our Operations Team to ensure the logistics, ordering and delivery activities are optimizedMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
B.A and/or M.B.A in Business and/or Construction IndustryExperience with identifying and finding distributorsExperience with managing price books and marginsKnowledge, Skills & Attributes
Familiar with Building Construction trades layout processThe ability to present to decision makers and business owners are a regular basisExcellent communication skillsStrong follow-up skillsExperience in sales, business development and/or marketingFluent in German and English languageThis is a hybrid role working remote in Germany
