Identifies and expands market opportunities that align with the capabilities of the Chemicals business' manufacturing infrastructure. Leverages industry expertise, relationships, and sound judgment to effectively plan and achieve business objectives **Responsibilities:** + Leads Business Development efforts with a focus on Contract Manufacturing, Excipients, and WFI opportunities. + Develops and executes strategies to drive sales growth in targeted areas. + Engages with customers to understand their objectives, requirements, and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, facilitating participation in new opportunities. + Maintains regular contact with customers to nurture relationships, introduce new products and services, and gather feedback on existing offerings. + Advocates strategies to senior leadership, ensuring effective communication of additional offerings to enhance sales within the existing customer base. + Utilizes Salesforce to track the sales pipeline, document interactions, and identify future sales opportunities. + Demonstrates the ability to quickly qualify leads and uncover additional opportunities within a lead. + Provides valuable feedback to marketing and product teams regarding potential product enhancements and emerging market trends. + Champions market capture efforts in assigned product areas. + Offers insights on pricing and competitive activities to key decision-makers to maintain a competitive edge. + Participates in pre-contract discussions with customers, including involvement in Terms and Conditions negotiations. *This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
