How You’ll Drive SuccessMarket Research and Prospecting + Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the India market. Develop and implement strategies to generate leads through various channels (networking, cold calling, social media.) + Networking: Represent Mastercam at tradeshows, industry events, and networking functions to build brand awareness and establish new business contacts. + Market Trends: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay informed about industry developments and adapt sales strategies accordingly. + Market Presence: Proactively engage with industry influencers, potential clients, and other stakeholders to build and maintain a strong presence in the market. Sales Process Management & Execution + Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing opportunities. Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions align with Mastercam’s objectives. + Sales Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with Mastercam’s established sales processes, including opportunity qualification, needs assessment, value proposition development, and validating Mastercam’s ability to meet the prospect’s business objectives and technical requirements. + Collaboration with Sales Engineers: Coordinate with Sales Engineers to deliver tailored solution presentations that address the prospect’s specific needs and reinforce the value proposition. + Opportunity Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce, documenting sales activities at each stage to enable accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting. + Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on terms to secure agreements that align with Mastercam’s financial objectives and deliver value to the customer. + Quota Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets, contributing to Mastercam’s growth in [Region]. + Value-Based Selling: Use consultative and value-driven selling techniques to develop solutions that address prospective clients' unique needs and goals. + Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, and technical teams) to align sales initiatives with Mastercam’s broader strategy and integrate client needs and market insights. CRM and Relationship Management + Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients. Understand their needs to ensure the successful presentation, quoting, and deployment of a solution configured to their specific requirements and aligned with their operational goals. + CRM Utilization: Leverage Salesforce to manage all account-related activities, ensuring accurate account hierarchies, billing and shipping details, market segmentation, and industry codes, as well as tracking contacts, opportunities, quotes, orders, and contracts. + Pipeline Management: Regularly update the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and sales reporting. Monitor key metrics such as win rates, pipeline velocity, and win rates to optimize performance. + CRM Best Practices: Ensure Salesforce is used effectively to manage client interactions, sales activities, opportunity tracking, and post-sale engagements. Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all activities. + Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics and AI-driven insights within Salesforce to identify patterns, improve client engagement, and optimize account strategies. Leverage AI tools to enhance prospecting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making. Cross-functional Collaboration + Feedback Integration: Regularly communicate with internal teams to provide insights into the needs and challenges of accounts, driving continuous improvement in Mastercam’s offerings. + Collaboration for Cross-Selling: Facilitate cross-selling opportunities by working with other Mastercam, Sandvik, and SMF BU teams, leveraging relationships to expand market presence and drive additional revenue streams. The Talents We’re SeekingEducation + Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Required Skills + A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive sales or business development experience, preferably within the software or manufacturing industry. + Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex environment. + Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi, written and verbal. Preferred Skills + Self-Motivation & Ownership: Highly self-driven with a strong sense of ownership. Demonstrates the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and consistently exceed sales targets. + Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically and develop long-term account plans that align with business objectives. + Sales Expertise: Expertise in consultative selling, value-based selling, and managing complex sales cycles to a successful conclusion. + CRM Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools to effectively manage sales activities, opportunities, and account plans. + AI and Data Literacy: Familiarity with AI tools and data analytics for enhancing prospecting, sales process efficiency, and data-driven insights. + Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives. + Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close large, complex sales and manage contract renewals. + Change Management: Ability to manage and drive change within external client organizations as well as within the internal team to achieve account objectives. + Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and lead collaboration between sales, client success, and product teams. + Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess client needs and develop creative solutions.
