Business Development Manager, Integrated Solutions

 

Great news! We’re currently seeking a Business Development Manager, Integrated Solutions to be based at our Vaughan Headquarters.

 

Job Summary

 

As the Business Development Manager. Integrated Solutions for Canada, your goal is to build our presence and increase sales in the electro-mechanical market in Canada.  You’ll lead our National Integrated Solutions sales efforts and collaborate with the relevant support functions within ASSA ABLOY DSS Canada to deliver profitable growth.

 

We are looking for an experienced sales and business development manager with a passion for sales, customer relations, and coaching abilities to make your people succeed and reach targeted goals.  This role reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Door Security Solutions Canada.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Set and maintain a sales strategy for all ASSA ABLOY Integrated Solutions in Canada Build collaboration with  the DSS sales organizations in Canada and the U.S. including the operating companies Work with senior management on sales strategy, product sales and general updates on market conditions Build short and long term sales strategies; set and maintain sales targets; and communicate product portfolio updates to our Canadian Sales and Management teams and Agencies Collaborate with the Operations team on product inventory, product issues, product procurement and assist with sales forecasting expectations Work with the Customer Service Team on process updates, product updates as well as helping manage U.S. factory expedites and requests from the Canadian sales organization Working with ASSA ABLOY Electronic Access Control OEM partners in Canada to push ASSA ABLOY products through their integrator/end user channel. Track IS sales as well as regional and individual sales targets Interact with US factories and product managers on product roadmap updates, product issues, potential product opportunities or proof of concepts

 

 

Education and Experience

 

5+ years sales experience, preferably in the commercial security or related industry Experience working with wholesalers and distributors Experience with selling to End Users

 

Key Competencies

 

Successful in delivering product and software application demonstrations in person or via a webinar Proven ability to sell opening solutions on a consultative basis using a communicative approach that can be effective with a diverse audience is highly desirable Basic administrator-level experience with SalesForce CRM including creating reports, dashboards and updating page layouts Proficient English skills; French bilingual an asset

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

 

Ability to travel in within the assigned territory up to 50% of the time        Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sales presentations Ability to travel across Canada and occasionally into the U.S. (for training & trade shows) Valid drivers' license in good standing
