American Express International Card Services - Commercial (ICS Commercial) is the leading provider of payments for businesses of all sizes globally. The Large Market Business Development Team is a key part of ICS Commercial and manages relationships with Large and Multinational clients in Hong Kong, our goal is to achieve targets of building charge volume and PTI growth, product penetration and client retention through differentiated value proposition. **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE** We are looking for someone passionate about building relationships and helping corporations cultivate growth in their market and industry. Our Business Development Managers have passion for driving new businesses with Large and Multinational clients in Hong Kong. They connect and support C-level executives via different channels to offer our products and services associate with differentiated values and benefits to help them run and grow their businesses. **The core responsibilities of this role are:** + Developing sound sales strategies by positioning American Express’ best-in-class commercial products and solutions to the target customers + Work closely with leader to create winning strategies to achieve enterprise goals + Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout the strategies + Work closely with Account Development Team to retain and expand the existing relationship with key customers in order to achieve annual spend and growth target + Support execution of American Express strategies in alignment with overall market growth objectives **Experience and Qualifications:** + A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial sales or account development is required + Ability to collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders through excellent communication and relationship building skills + Dynamic personality able to effectively engage a variety of audiences at MNC scale businesses + Strong Knowledge in cross-border payment and financial acumen (financial statement analysis, cash flow) + Strategic thinker with strong coordination skills and attention to detail + To be successful in this role, you must be a driven, self-motivated individual + Fluent spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin would be an added advantage) **Qualifications** We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
