To support this exciting growth, they are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a full-time position, available for an immediate start.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing strategies to meet revenue growth objectives Compiling structured reports on the status of business opportunities and sales performance Managing resources efficiently to support sales goals Driving business growth by attending industry events, engaging in direct marketing, and building your network Keeping accurate, up-to-date records of client interactions in the company's CRM Supporting the completion of large tenders and securing necessary documents from engineers, councils, developers, and clients Ensuring all designs comply with Australian building codes, regulations, and standards Identifying opportunities to enhance internal processes and improve collaboration between teamsAbout You
The ideal candidate will bring:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, preferably with exposure to the building industry Strong IT skills, including experience using CRM systems Knowledge of Queensland Building Standards, Acts, and Planning Schemes A background in architecture, drafting, or design, with experience in planning, design development, and project documentation A proven ability to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into successful clients Confidence in building relationships with prospective clients and offering tailored solutions The ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and apply problem-solving skills to prioritize workloads Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning abilitiesWhat’s in It for You
