As the Business Development Manager, you will:
Achieve and exceed annual sales targets while managing commercial accounts. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the commercial client base. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives. Present and communicate the value proposition through compelling proposals and presentations. Stay informed and report on industry trends. Analyze and report on factors affecting account budgets and strategic direction.
What you bring to the role:
A college diploma in Business and prior sales experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven success in closing large sales with long sales cycles. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiating skills at all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite. In-depth understanding of manufacturing principles and the management of large commercial accounts. Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
