Business Development Manager
Airswift is recruiting a Business Development Manager for a 2-year contract position based in Guyana with a leading company in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Market Expansion: Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in the energy sector, focusing on diversifying the client base. Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including potential clients, government agencies, and partners. Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new contracts. Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify strategic growth opportunities. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients. Act as the primary point of contact for business inquiries and client negotiations. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing tailored solutions. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a structured business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with operational capabilities. Monitor and report on business development performance metrics. Partnerships & Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Establish strategic alliances and collaborations to enhance service offerings. Revenue Generation & Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus). Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the energy sector. Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and managing client relationships. Strong understanding of the energy industry and its dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Additional Information: Location: Guyana Contract Duration: 2 years
