Position Overview

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and sustaining long-term relationships with major clients in the facility management sector. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while collaborating with internal teams to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in Mumbai and surrounding regions.Build, nurture, and manage long-term client relationships by addressing needs and delivering exceptional service.

Sales & Revenue Growth

Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and solution bundling across Diversey’s product and service portfolio.Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

Client Solutions & Service Delivery

Understand client-specific needs and deliver customized, value-driven solutions.Partner with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of products and services.

Market Intelligence

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive innovative strategies.Leverage data and feedback to support product development and refine sales approaches.

Reporting & Forecasting

Maintain accurate records of account activities in CRM systems.Provide regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and customer satisfaction.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with operations, marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution.Participate in training programs to remain up to date with Diversey’s product portfolio and sales tools.

Negotiation & Contract Management

Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.Manage SLAs, commercial agreements, and other documentation with precision.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development.Proven success in managing large, complex accounts in the cleaning chemicals, equipment, hygiene, or facility management sector.Strong track record of achieving revenue growth and client retention.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.Exceptional relationship-building and client engagement capabilities.Ability to design and deliver tailored, solutions-based offerings.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.Strong organizational and time management abilities.
