Business Development Manager
What can you expect?
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage all aspects of prospect development from pre-sale through close. Furthermore, you will identify and actively pursue potential new business opportunities.
Lead the coordination of organizational resources necessary to drive a sale to completionIdentify potential referral sources and develop relationships through personal contact and presentation of the practice’s resourcesGenerate additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other Marsh products and services as appropriateWe will count on you to:
As a Business Development Manager, you will identify external and internal referral sources and partner closely with those sources. In addition, you will lead the creation of sales proposals and presentations and work with the referral source partner to coordinate the delivery of these presentations to prospects.
Transitions a qualified prospect or new client to a client executive and supports the client executive in the implementation of new business deals and transitions the client to account management statusUtilize information sources internally and externally to gather appropriate data to position Marsh to prospect properlyEnsure that up-to-date prospective client information is maintained in the databaseWhat you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skillsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Business Development Manager Experience in insurance sales, consulting firms, or financial institutions is preferably Effective English written and verbal communication skills to communicate with colleagues and clientsWhat makes you stand out?
