BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
McGough is looking to add to our successful Bismarck team an energetic and dynamic Business Development Manager. This person will be responsible for driving new relationships with prospective clients as well as assisting in developing stronger relationships with existing customers. They will be expected to be involved in the community with leadership roles and an extensive network of contacts. Key influencers will be a focus of their strategy. The area from Bismarck/Mandan out to Dickson and up towards Watford City and Williston and over to Minot will be encompass the territory for this manager. They will report to the Regional Director of Business Development and Community Development.

Required:
Bachelor's degree with minimum 5-10 years of business development experience Solid organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work assignments Must have a track history of driving profitable company growth Strong client development and sales/marketing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM softwarePreferred:
Solid business development experience, construction industry experience is not essential Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and management abilities Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written correspondence Creative problem solving ability, negotiation and follow-up skills Ability to build rapport with community interaction and involvement Experience in customer support and follow-upOffice and Travel:
In addition to regional meetings, overnight travel may be involved
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Work directly with the leadership team to create a business plan, which includes specific revenue and profit targets, engagement strategies, community and branding enhancement tactics. Conduct market research on identify new markets and/or emerging trends. Assist the marketing team in competitive analysis efforts Establish and facilitate strong relationships with architects, engineer’s consultants, and owners Promote company awareness, pursue opportunities to become involved in service groups, civic leadership roles, etc Collaborate with other McGough team members across the region to facilitate and improve upon pursuit strategiesPhysical Requirements:

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at employee's work station and during meetings as well as while traveling, either by plane or car. Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
