Business Development Manager

 

Overview:

Guidepoint Tokyo is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Business Development Manager position. This person will be responsible for selling access to our subscription-based research service and all other Guidepoint products and services across Japan.

Guidepoint is a leading Information Services firm serving some of the world’s largest MNC corporations, consulting firms, investment funds, and government bodies. We are currently growing very fast across Asia. Guidepoint gives investors, consultants, and professionals of all backgrounds the intelligence they need to clarify the uncertain and assuredly take essential decisions with ultimate confidence via insight and knowledge gained from vetted industry & subject-matter experts.

What You’ll Do:

Generate revenue by selling access to our subscription-based platform of expertise by effectively articulating Guidepoint's value proposition and knowing the competitive landscape Achieve revenue targets set by sales management Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients of Guidepoint Develop a strong pipeline of qualified prospects

 What you have:

At least 2 to 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience Proven successful sales or business development track record in Japan Demonstrated ability in establishing effective relationships with stakeholders – both internal and external Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset, and an unwavering desire to succeed Demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams. A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. University degree from a recognized institution Fluency in both Japanese and English
