Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling microbiological, analytical, and environmental monitoring services to support pharmaceutical and medical device product development. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities
+ Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
+ Present and promote our microbiological, analytical, and environmental monitoring services to potential clients.
+ Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
+ Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
+ Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
+ Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
+ Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
+ Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Business Development and Business Unit Leadership.
Qualifications/Skills
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
+ Strong knowledge of microbiological, analytical, and environmental monitoring services.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
+ Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
+ Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
+ Ability to travel as needed.
+ Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools is preferred.
+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards is preferred.
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
+ Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a relevant field.
+ This is a remote position with 50% travel
+ Daily work will be performed in a home office setting. Position requires visual acuity, talking and fingering. Walking and standing are required occasionally.
