Business Development Manager

The purpose of the Business Development Manager is to build and manage a portfolio of prospects. The BDM targets new clients to sell human capital management solutions on behalf of Right Management.


• Secure new business with prospects in an assigned territory.
• Execute against territory and client plans to capitalize on market/industry and client opportunity.
• Keep client information and sales leads up to date in CRM.

• Own the relationship with the prospective client - drive the entire sales cycle in collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage questions/escalations and pursue opportunities to expand scope and services.
• Coordinate involvement of consultants to effectively scope and produce a bid based on the client requirements.
• Offers customized workforce solutions to clients by collaborating across teams/brands to leverage the full suite of ManpowerGroup solutions.
• Partner with sales team in each region (BDD AD) to understand market trends and inform business development efforts
• Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities.
• Daily activity includes conducting omni-channel Business Development efforts leveraging phone, email, texts, social media and other technologies.
• Leverage tools such as Hubspot, Outreach.io, Microsoft Dynamics and LinkedIn to connect with prospective clients.
• Engage with prospects in a strategic and relevant way based on industry, market and company awareness.
• Lead qualification and pursuit of new opportunities.
• Present Right Management offerings to clients.
• Onboard new clients to Right Management.
• The position is virtual/remote with availability to travel up to 30% of the time for client meetings or events.
